It's been so long since I've updated this blog.. Sorry for being inactive for so long. *excuses* I'm really busy nowadays and lazy to put up any updates.. hahah *excuses*

So I helped kitty to translate one of JJ-Lin's song into Pinyin lyrics for her to sing.. and then we thought that, hey, actually it's kinda fun to put up a blog for lyrics and translations, and people could come searching for them : D

Today heard from Hooi Ling during dinner, that WongLoon's condition has worsen u_u, something about lung failure.. i'm sure right now he's trying to fight real hard. I pray for his speedy recovery. I actually talked to him last week on FB, and he sounded really genki and fine, sounded as if he's recovering well, but then suddenly this happened.

But like Hooiling said.. there will be miracles, and stay positive. Ganbatte kudasai.. ! Hope to see you again soon.

It's been a really long time since I last blogged, apart from posting all those artworks of mine that is ; ) But thanks to Nuffnang (excuses, i know ;p) , I decided to do this once again XD !

I've been looking through my collection of old photos, and I found this :

I took this with my ol' Sony Ericsson w800i camera phone. Yes it's a Sony! This is actually a photo of my friends playing under the mini waterfall in Sunway Lagoon. This was when I was still in college, staying alone far away from home ; ( But to be able to reunite with my friends and my relatives again that day and had a day out when they visited Sunway, it was really a fun and memorable day for me : )

For me, to be able to have fun with your loved ones, soaking yourselves in the coolness of the water, enjoy listening to the sounds of water splashes all around you, while you can barely see a thing, and all your troubles and stress being lifted by the refreshing sensation XD ; .. is really one of the greatest moment you can share! And hopefully, I'll be able to share this moment again with my loved one some time soon : ) ♥

I was so afraid that my camera phone would get wet if I accidentally slipped my hands, or stood too near the splashing waters D: .. Oh, and how I wished I owned a water-proof camera, like the Sony TX5 ! If I had that camera, I would at least get myself into the pool and shoot more photos! Especially shots from INSIDE the waterfall, and close-ups portraits of my friends/relatives XD That would be more awesome that it is right now ! :D

Oh have I mentioned about the features of the Sony TX5? :D It is said to be the world's slimmest water-proof camera! It's not only water-proof, but also temperature-proof, dust-proof, and shock-proof! I wonder if it is bullet-proof too so that I'll be protected from some stray bullets xD What I like most about this camera, is its Intelligent Sweep Panorama feature! You just have to press, pan / sweep across the scenery you want to capture, and voila ~ You've got yourself an awesome panorama shot ♥ .. I've tried playing with this Sweep Panorama thingy in the Sony Center before, and I immediately fell in love with it XD

It has a lot of other cool features too, like its awesome Carl Zeiss lens, along with the "Exmor R" CMOS Sensor, BIONZ image processor, and it is 10.2 Megapixels ! D : If you want to know more about it, just click HERE ~ !

Haha enough advertising ;p ~ I really really hope to own this camera though, as my first ever digital compact camera ! : )

Haro ppl! ~

It's been almost a month since I last updated.. so ya, was kinda a happening month I'd say~ D :

1st of all, I attended the recent launch party of Your Grandfather's Road. What is Your Grandfather's Road? CLICK HERE to check it out~ xD .. It's actually a local movie project, that allows us to make a contribution to it. Currently, we can contribute ideas and stories, so we are able to voice out certain stuffs that are unheard of, and put it on a big screen !!~ I think this is a great project, since I saw their other works like the 2 shortfilms I watched during the launch, they were brilliant! And oh, Alfred the MC for Comic Fiesta ACTED IN ONE OF THE SHORTFILM HAHAHAH !!! - "I am MADLY in love with you.." olololololololololol xD Thanks a lot to Rinnyan for the invitation, and kuanwinnnnn for the transport and company ! D: .. there was a thunder storm that evening so i got so wet, and stayed under the cooooold air con for the rest of the evening x-x.. resulted in fever and a bad headache the next daysss... orz

Secondly, there are the crazes for handphones (thanks to ngaicharm D: ) , netbooks (thanks to hooiling), and not forgetting.. ROOOOO !! (rin punya pasal la lol. but I'm one of the mastermind too 8D ) . I'm still wondering if I should get a new phone or not, maybe I should, but which one should I get.. I'm not really a heavy duty phone music/camera person.. just wanna have a decent phone to use XD and maybe have a decent camera to capture stuffs that I come across. Netbook aaaa... xd;;; I think i'm getting one for the sake of convenience ~~~~~; RO, lol. We've been playing in this server called Intense RO. It's a great server! We had lots and lots of fun playing and trying out new jobs. But recently the lag spikes are starting to get in our way D : Hope it'll be normal soon .. We had lots and lots of people and acquaintance in our NyanNyan guild lol. Rin's friends, Terence's friends, Zymz's friends etc etc... XD

Wongloon, my colleague, friend, senior, mentor, teacher, sensei lol; has been hospitalized because his arm problem is getting worse u___u .. so I had to stand in for him to lecture for his classes because I'm his tutor.. Was a lil stressful cos it's my 1st time handling a 'real' class (apart from the Adobe Premiere tutorial classes), and cos I am replacing him for the meantime, so I really need to be good enough for that.. Hope he can find treatment as soon as possible, and hope his arm can be cured T_T .. ; and so is Yuh Hann, i think he's having some lumps in his body D : get well soon D :

COM - orz. I have not been really doing my part really well u__u i'm really sorry, I kinda losing my motivation... somehow need to find it back.. its already end of January T____T .. sighsigh

Gonna have a DG61 reunion later, hopefully (but i dont think so) everybody would turn up so we can have a good time reminiscing the past hahaahhah

Just came home from a trip down to Times Square.. a lil tired and still sick now.. but somehow i still wanted to type this.

Good news. My group's final project animation got the finalist for the Panorama competition thingy.. so 3 of us are entitled to fly to Hong Kong next month to participate in the boot camp and final competition. There will be mentors guiding us on how to enhance our short more, and then resubmit it for judging. It'll be a 5-day trip to HK Cyberport, from 11 - 15 Dec. All sponsored by Autodesk. Hopefully i could get my passport done within this coming week..

Wanted to have a ParrotLion gathering today at Times Square, but the other 3 members werent available.. so only Mark and Beng were there. Went to see the Anime Hanabi Festival thingy, but to me it's nothing much ^^;; met ngaicharm on the way home o_o;

Watched 2012 the movie in the afternoon. I don't really know about the others, but to me, it's kinda boring.. it was a typical disaster movie to me.. Someone discovers something, some other people don't believe him, some tries to keep a secret; then showing lives of different individuals from different places, in the end they meet each other; effects, effects, and more effects; people die, sacrifice themselves; and the list goes on.... To me, it's just a 'visual effects' movie.

But, having that aside, it makes me think. We humans busy living our own lives, everyday, selfishly. We hardly think of the world, the things that's happening around us, the people around us, and who care for us, the things we do.. (I don't mean everyone is like this though) .. then until one day, something really bad happens to us, we only thought of repenting, regretting, apologising over the things that we do.. Just like in the movie. The end of the world was coming, and people all over the world started to pray so hardly, lifting signboards asking others to repent cos the end is near, started to tell each other how much they love, or apologising because of the past, blahblahblah... Nevertheless, we are still human.. we make mistakes.. therefore we should do our best to live our lives more meaningfully.. and rationally. Think twice before u do an action, before u say a word.

Along my way home, I got a sms from Seamus.. saying that our beloved Dean of Studies, Ms. Veronica Ho had just passed away.. u_u I was shocked and stood still for a moment when i started reading the first few words.. "I regret to inform that our Dean of Studies..." *stood still* ..... and then I braced myself to read on... I was told that she was ill last week, and we were to sign a 'get well soon' card to pass to her.. but i didn't know it was this serious.. u_u .. She was a really nice person.. although I don't really know her that well. I had a chance to talk to her in her office once during my 1st year, despite her busy schedule. I felt really honoured.

Have been really busy with everything these few months.. classes, assignments, projects, tasks etc.. But I'm sure I'm much happier than before.

One day, as a wise man was walking along the shore, he looked down the beach and saw a human figure moving like a dancer. He smiled to himself at the thought of someone who would dance to the day, and so, he walked faster to catch up.

As he got closer, he noticed that the figure was that of a young man, and that what he was doing was not dancing at all. The young man was reaching down to the shore, picking up small objects, and throwing them into the ocean.

He came closer still and called out "Good morning! May I ask what it is that you are doing?"

The young man paused, looked up, and replied "Throwing starfish into the ocean."

"I must ask, then, why are you throwing starfish into the ocean?" asked the somewhat startled wise man.

To this, the young man replied, "The sun is up and the tide is going out. If I don't throw them in, they'll die."

Upon hearing this, the wise man commented, "But, young man, do you not realize that there are miles and miles of beach and there are starfish all along every mile? You can't possibly make a difference!"

At this, the young man bent down, picked up yet another starfish, and threw it into the ocean. As it met the water, he said, "It made a difference for that one."

Humans always see the large picture, but never tend to look into the minor details. Say, pollution.. or global warming.. or bribery, or recycle.. whatever.... Most of them always have the same excuse, " Even if i don't do it, there will still be others that will do it. So it won't make any difference!"

It's really not what the end result would be... even if the young man threw the starfish into the ocean.. it might get swiped onto the beach again.. but that's not the point either. You can make a difference for THAT very moment, even if you can't make a difference for everybody else.

It's the heart that really matters... that you want to stand up, contribute what you have, and make a difference for yourself and the world, OR you're just going to be everybody else, indulging in your own ignorant and selfish world.

Clean Blocking ☆~

What’s the Importance of Clean Blocking? Can You Provide Some Tips on Clean Blocking?

The importance of clean blocking comes back to why we block in the first place. To present a clear direction or intent, to the supervisors and directors. If you have done your job in your blocking, anyone who views your shot should be able to tell exactly what is happening. Should anyone ask “yeah so...what's he doing riiiiiight...THERE!” Well, then you probably weren't clear enough, pack up your desk and get out.....

No, no it happens. You thumbnailed, you shot reference, your blocking is clear to you, but we must be sure it reads to everyone else as well. That's why its important to show your blocking to fellow animators while your working; don't work in a vacuum...not that you could fit in a vacuum, unless it was one of those giant industrial kinds.

A question I will get a lot from my students is: How far do we go with the blocking...how much is too much? Again it's important that the blocking reads clearly. Sometimes two poses can tell the whole story. Other times you may need several breakdowns to make a particular pose change clear. Basically, you want to put in as much as you need to get the idea across, while at the same time, keeping it simple.

Often times student's dirty up their blocking by including too many ideas. So a scene that may only have two ideas...two beats, will be blocked with four or five ideas. It's important to make sure that the key poses are working with the key beats or phrases of the shot. Don't get all crazy with trying to cram in too many ideas. Some questions to ask when planning your scene: what is the purpose of the shot? ...what do I need to say to the audience?

When I block out a scene I will work in stepped keys, this way when I view my animation I am flipping through the poses. I key everything on the character for each one of my key poses, which keeps everything neat in my timeline. This way, if I receive notes from the supervisor or director, I can implement the changes quickly and easily.
Keep it clear and keep it simple.

My relative came to find me for lunch.. and he took me here, some vegetarian Nyonya restaurant at Old Klang Road, somewhere near OUG ~ =DDDD forgot the name though.. i think its something like Mama Hao in chinese, but dont know the english XDDDD

anyways, the prices here are ok-ok, and lol, u can apply for membership here XD got 10% off meals, and up to 20% off for some food products there~

I like the atmosphere the most~ feels very classic and traditional.. cos of the decorations, the wooden chairs and tables, the windows, curtains.. everything~ Yea, i ordered that pink pink rice thingy - it's called dragonfruit fried rice!~ not bad~ quite unique ;D

we ordered a plate of rojak too, and then a pot of tea~

they use organic vegetables here, and the fried rice is not oily at all~ healthy i'd say~ =D

long time no update.. was very busy with work and life.. lol..

just attended a 3-day comic workshop in college, and here's the outcome ~ ; D

my 1st collaborative work with nyan : a 2-paged comic ~

We were given a short script, and we have to design our own characters, the script breakdowns and panelling~ After penciling, we have to exchange them with our partner and ink them ~

Tips on Animation Demo Reel..? ☆~

What Specific Shots Show the Most Knowledge of Animation Principles That You’d Want to See in a Demo Reel?

This is a great question, and one that I think can't be talked about enough.

Your goal with every single shot on your demo reel should be to show as wide a variety of skills and expertise as possible.

Obviously, that isn't possible with every shot. A fight sequence, for example, may not have an opportunity for a lot of deep character introspection and subtle emotion - it might be more about dynamic camera angles, powerful poses, and exciting body mechanics.

However, the goal SHOULD be to show off as much as you can. If it's a fight scene, then you should be showing off all of the above (camera angles/moves, dynamic body mechanics, etc) as well as showing your deep knowledge of all of the basic animation principles as applied to an action shot. We'll want to see anticipation, squash/stretch (maybe even just subtle squashes in the spine or subtle stretches on the punching arm), nice arcs, great weight & balance, etc.

If you're going to do a dialogue shot, please don't fall into the trap that so many students fall into, which is to animate the classic "guy sitting behind the desk or at a table" shot. The acting may be great, but if you do a shot like that, you better have some other terrific body mechanics shots on your demo reel, or you're missing an important opportunity to show off your skills.

Sometimes I'll see a series of really great acting performances on a demo reel, but the characters are always sitting or standing in place. Sadly, the best acting in the world is not going to catch our attention all on its own. Most studios (probably ALL studios) also need to know without any doubt that you also know how to make that character stand up and walk around!

My advice in these situations is to design your acting shots to show off both acting AND body mechanics. If you want to start an acting scene with seated characters, that's fine, but the shot will be far more impressive if you have that character stand up and DO something as part of their performance.

Any time the feet seem nailed to the floor or their butt is glued to the seat, many recruiters just tune out completely because it simply doesn't show whether or not you truly know how to animate.

And I've said it before, but it bears repeating - for the same reasons listed above, please no more 'floating talking heads disconnected from the body!' Again, the nicest lip-sync ever done is not going to impress us if we can't even see the rest of the body.

Had to wake up 6+am in the morning today xD;; but yah.. taught the kids how to make the Suncather~ Although we didnt really have enough time.. only had one hour to do everything.. but still, they are really creative~ one of them even did a tribute Suncatcher for the late MJ~!! hahaha XD (Y)

But ya.. took these photos using my phone.. (i dont know if i'm allowed to take photos or not .. ) but too bad i din get to snap the finished products.. haha~ but i'm glad they all had fun = ) (oh and that's our redecorated notice board with undersea theme from our 1st art project last time~ xDD in the last pic)

DIY Suncatcher ☆~

Spent a few hours working on this handicraft~ a Suncatcher~ =D (i dont really know where it originated from, but ya.. haha )

Made it from paper plate, book plastic wrapper, color papers, and ribbon~ and drawn on with my ol' Prismacolor Markers~ hahah XD this is just a sample to show the kids on Sunday so i could teach them how to make one by themselves =D

as promised, I've posted the photo up~ plus Tenji-nyan is sitting beside it~ hahaha XDDD he's real clean now after the ofuro~ =3

12 Animation Principles.. which one more important? ☆~

Man, that's such a tough question.

The truth is that you can't single out any one principle as "the" most important. In the past, I've said that animation is kind of like golf. Have you ever tried to golf? Well, I'm not much of a golfer, but I've learned enough to know that there are dozens of important things to remember during a golf swing, and eventually -- after a LOT of practice -- all of these different things become second nature, and they all tie into each other to create one thing -- a good golf swing.

You have to have your toes lined up just right, you have to have your shoulders angled just right, your hips need to be in a specific spot, and you have to swing the club up to a specific height/angle during the back swing. You have to be holding the club in a specific way, and bend your knee in a specific way, and shift your weight from one foot to another mid-swing in a specific way. You have to have one elbow bent just so, and pull with one arm while letting the other drag and steer, and you can't take your eye off the ball, etc.

But at the end of the day, all of those things are really just ONE thing, right? A golf swing.

Animation is EXACTLY the same way. You have to remember anticipation and overlap. Arcs and secondary animation. Force and dynamic posing. Overshoot and line of action. You have to remember squash and stretch and weight & balance and path of action and a million other things.

In the golf swing, if you forget ONE of those things -- say you have your toe pointed in the wrong angle -- then guess what? The ball goes haywire and it's a bad shot.

Animation is the same thing. If you remember everything above, but forget anticipation, then unless the style specifically demands a lack of anticipation, the shot is just plain wrong. It's bad. Because of ONE thing, even though you might have great overlap, beautiful arcs, and the most dynamic poses ever - it's still a bad shot.

We spend a lot of time at Animation Mentor breaking down all the various principles and then showing how they all relate to each other and tie together and morph into one big thing called Body Mechanics, which is basically just the idea of what moves what in the body, and WHY. Overlap, overshoot, force, path of action, etc. -- these are all just different ways of describing tiny facets of what makes our bodies move without falling over, and just as with golf, there's no one facet that is more important than the other.

I wish there was an easier answer, but the truth is that animation requires a serious study of ALL the principles, and the only way to create strong animation is to become extremely familiar with all of them, and -- more importantly -- with how they affect each other.

things have been going quite ok lately.. = ) i guess~ the bad feeling is still lurking around from time to time.. lol but i guess the situation is a lil better than before now.. xD;;

TOA's planning to have a TOA Night / prom night (i think wouldnt be a prom la.. ) in a few months time = ) i was somehow dragged into the committee lol ^^;;;

tarted 'really' learning zbrush last few days.. lol

this is my 1st ever 3d sculpture.. orz

my juniors asked me to join their sculpting thingy but i didnt really know how to use zbrush lol.. so i did a lil read up and watched a few videos..

still not really familiar with it though.. haha anyways, the title was Gatekeeper, but I tried to avoid doing something humanoid.. cos the 1st thing that came into my mine was a human character.. guarding a door.. orz so i tried to do something on fours.. and so i thought of a dog lol.. started modeling using zSpheres~

uh.. too focused on how to sculpt rather than making the design looks nice.. D: so it looks kinda simple U_U XD;;;

Thought of sharing some stuffs i've learned these few months..

I've learned that planning is really really vital in doing a shot.. even if its a very short one. Having all your ideas drawn or written down on a piece of paper is good, because you could easily change your drawings, your plans just by using an eraser~ You could also easily explore different ideas.

After having all your key drawings planned, you could easily transfer them into 3D by just copying!~

Here's my planning for a short animation..

and here's my blocking animation in Maya~

and of course.. references are always important when planning your shot.. either you shoot yourself as your own reference, or you could get them from youtube, or which ever site you think you can find them =D

I blocked my animation in stepped-keys (not smoothed, as you can see in the vid) because all the keyposes are clear, and its easier to adjust my timing if i want to.. and then I have to check the animation principles if they're applied here.. especially ARCS ~

mm.. i think that's all for pt.1 on planning and blocking my animation.. of course it's not really good.. will continue to refine my shot and post pt.2 here =)

Just wanna share something..

Some wise man said..
"God lets us to notice mistakes, because he wants us to realize our own mistakes and to correct them. But not to pick out others' mistakes to make us look better. Those who tries to make themselves look better by pointing fingers at others, are the real evil ones." (sorry for the lousy translation.. lol )

So ya.. sometimes, if not, most of the times we notice what others do and what not, but we hardly see ourselves. We always know how to point at others when they do something wrong, but do we ever look into the mirror to judge our actions before that?

But of course i think, instead of just pointing and making fun of others' mistakes, we also should advice them in a nice manner about their mistakes~

Less conflicts, more self-reflection, a better world. No? =)

New Pixar Studios in Vancouver ☆~

This is breaking news: Pixar, it has just been announced, plans to open a 20,000-square-foot satellite studio this fall in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The studio is currently scouting locations in the city for the new facility.

The Vancouver studio will focus only on the production of Pixar's short films and other non-feature projects based for the most part on "legacy characters", such as the characters of Toy Story.

"The operation will be small in size and dedicated to producing short-form quality computer animation for theme parks, DVDs, television and theatrical exhibition... for several different divisions of The Walt Disney Company", Pixar president Ed Catmull tells The Hollywood Reporter. The studio plans to hire between 75 and 100 employees, mostly Canadian, for the job, according to general manger Jim Morris.

Amir Nasrabadi, current vice-president of operations and finance at Disney's direct-to-video sequel outfit DisneyToon Studios, has been picked to be the general manager of the Vancouver operation. Pixar animator Dylan Brown, supervising animator on Ratatouille and Finding Nemo, will be the local creative director.

Vancouver was chosen for several reasons, including its location and time zone (near to and same as Emeryville, respectively), the tax incentives provided by the Province of British Columbia, and other factors, such as the abundant talent located in the area.

Let me just say, this is huge. Huge. It's incredible to see Pixar expanding this way. And to Canada, eh! Now, if they would've only picked Toronto, I'd be preparing to camp out at the proposed location with a sign reading "WILL WORK FOR FOOD".

Dragonica is a 3D, fantasy, action-oriented, side scrolling Massive Multiplayer online role-playing game developed by Barunson Interactive. The English version is published by IAHgames, the Korean version by PlayNC, and the Chinese version by Playcool. It is a F2P game with a cash shop. It plays similar to other "action, arcade" games such as Lunia. You directly control your character and its actions with a keyboard, gamepad, or controller. You don't "target" enemies, but instead hit them with the attack animation. It's similar in fashion to a console game.

Another meeting today.. it was SPLASH-pro's 1st meet up XD, with YonHui, Ken and Hakim.. along came Francisca and Danny =D

Gathered at KLCC's park (it was hot.. x_x) and discussed about our upcoming Artbook.. including the cover, contents, pages, guest artists etc.. and of course our doujin group name XD.. came up with alooot of names.. like YATTA! (Young And Terribly Talented Artists), Toilet Seat Cover, PIAK (Professional Insane Artists Krew), etc etc.. but in the end we finally settled with SPLASH Project. As we spread our passion by splashing them around ! 8D ~

So.. we need to ask for quotation for printing, find potential guests, and of course.. produce artworks D :

Today was our 1st meet up for our webcomic group, COM aka Comics on Monday !!~ at 1U's McD.. (ran ran ruuu~ )

With kiDChan, Rociel, Kiraneko, Jared, Joshi, Silencer, and friends XD.. Discussed about our working flow, name for group, domain, story ideas, etc.. We plan to have our comics online in September, so ya, ganbarimasu !! 8D

Stil have to improve my story, add more girls and make it harem.. xD cos u see... there are 2 BL artists and 1 yuri story... D; so they ask me to balance it.. hahah xdDD

the gathering was great, feel pumped up for it already =D go go me!

Came across this interesting article few days back.. it's really meaningful, and makes you think back on your actions~

Stephen Covey discovers the 90/10 principle.

10% of life is made up of what happens to you, but 90% is decided by how you react.

We really have no control over the 10% that happens to us. Lets say, car breaking down, plane arriving late, throwing our schedule off. But the other 90% is different. You determine the 90%. How?... By your reaction ~

Example ~

You're eating breakfast with your family, and your daughter knocks over a cup of coffee onto your business shirt. You have no control of what has happened.

What happens next will be determined by how you react.

You curse.

You harshly scold your daughter for knocking the cup over. She breaks down in tears. After scolding her, you turn to your spouse and criticize her for putting the cup too near the edge of the table. A short verbal battle follows. You storm upstairs and change your shirt. Back downstairs, you see your daughter too busy crying to finish breakfast and get ready for school. She misses the bus.

Your spouse must leave immediately for work. You rush to the car and drive your daughter to school. Because you're late, you speed.

After a 15-min delay and throwing $60 traffic fine away, you arrive at school. Your daughter runs off without bidding goodbye. After arriving at the office 20 mins late, you find you forgot your briefcase. Your day has started terrible. As it continues, it seems to get worse and worse. You look forward to come home.

When you arrive home, you find a small wedge in your relationship with your family. Why?... because of how you reacted this morning.

Why did you have a bad day? Did the coffee cause it? your daughter? the policeman? or YOU?

Answer is YOU. You had no control over what happened to the coffee. How you reacted in those 5 secs is what caused your bad day.

Here is what could have and should have happened.

Coffee splashes over you. Your daughter is about to cry. You gently say, "It's ok honey, you just need to be more careful next time". Grabbing a towel you rush upstairs. After grabbing a new shirt and briefcase, you come back down in time to look through the window and see your daughter getting on the bus. She turns and waves. You arrive 5 mins early and cheerfully greet the staffs. Your boss comments on how good the day you're having.

Notice the difference?

2 different scenarios. Both started the same, but ended differently~

Here're some ways to apply this principle. If someone says something bad about you, don't be a sponge. Let the attack roll off like water on glass. You don't have to let the negative comment affect you!

React properly and it will not ruin your day. A wrong reaction could result in losing a friend, being fired, getting stressed etc etc...

You are told you lost your job...

Why lose sleep and get irritated? It will work out. Use your worrying energy and time into finding new jobs!

Try to understand and apply this 90/10 principle, and it'll change your life!

~~lol.. personally, I don't think there's anything special about this principle.. it doenst have to be a principle to begin with.. its in your wisdom~ you should know how to react to things wisely~ But true, most people might not know how to deal with things wisely.. so probably this Mr. Covey came out with this principle and article, to share with others.. lol

Just finished watching another 2 new anime episodes~ Full Metal Alchemist : Brotherhood, and Shangri-La ~ ... aaaand BOTH OF THEM ARE REALLY GOOD! cant' wait for next week =D !!

as for Shangri-La, it's an anime by Gonzo, and character designs by non other than Range Murata !!~~ 1st impression bout this new anime.. something to do with the environment in the future, where there are taxes for countries that involve in industrialization and produce carbon dioxide.. how scary is it when our fate lies in hands of lolis? .. i mean.. there are now 3 lolis that plays a big role in which ever places they are.. be it a princess(maybe?), a future clan leader, and some international trading ministry or some sort.. lol anyways, here's the OP

Finally, " K-On! " is aired !!~ XDDD.. First look at this new anime: as expected from Kyoto Animation, the animations are GREAT! and the styles looked a lil like Lucky Star, lol~ Love the OP and ED designs, and most importantly.. it makes me wanna start a band tooooo T___T..

Went to "Shang Hai", or was it "Shiang Hai" (香海) restaurant for lunch today~ 1st time had sooo much food and paid so much for a meal XD... ^^;;; I ordered a plate of Spaghetti with cheese on it, and a plate of beancurt sushiii (as above pic)~ 8D all together with a pot of Chinese Tea was around RM21 for myself alone lol !..

then last week went to Jason's place for his house-warming.. bought a box of cornflakes and pocky's.. then combined with ChongHing's ice creams + HoeYi's canned peach = Hikari's Special Parfait 8DDD !!..

yeshu! after so many days of dragging.. lol i finally finished it 8DDDD ~

this is the 3D version of my previous design [link] .. ~

This fire rescue mobile suit is used for dangerous rescue missions.. it can withstand tons of pressure and heat. Its left hand is equipped with a fire extinguisher, while the right hand is inter-changeable with various rescue tools.

Rather than designing a mobile suit that aids war and destroys, I decided to design a MS that could save lives.

Designs are based on the firefighters and the fire engine. ... aaaand inspired by the Koubu's from Sakura Taisen~

Reisen Udongein Inaba (鈴仙・優曇華院・イナバ ) - a Moon rabbit that fled from the moon and now staying in Eientei with Tewi, Erin, and Kaguya.

Been going through quite a lot of Touhou's recently.. especially chapters about the rabbits on the moon and on Earth~ lol The rabbits have an ability to communicate with each other in long distances ~ Reisen usually communicates with her fellow rabbits on the moon for information and gossips that happen on the moon.. Rabbits LOVE to gossip~

i personally think its kinda romantic and cute with this kinda communication XD.. and so here I drew Reisen looking up at the moon.. I wonder what are they talking about?

On Tuesday, the SPCA Selangor received several calls from members of public regarding a man who appeared to be mentally unstable - seen tying up several cats and a puppy near the Mines Complex. SPCA Animal Inspectors immediately contacted the nearest Police Station in Serdang, urging them to send an officer to intervene. By the time the patrol car arrived on the scene 10-15 minutes later, the man had walked off – carrying with him two cats and the puppy in a bag. Two other adult cats were left tied to a concrete post. The animals reportedly were not injured, but had been subjected to a lot of stress as the man had tied them up, talking to them as he held their heads tightly. The policemen released the two cats.

The Animal Inspectors followed-up with the police station the same day, and lodged a police report about the incident. The following day, they put up posters (using a picture taken by camera-phone by one of the concerned members of the public) around the vicinity to request that the public keep an eye out for this man, and managed to locate and rescue two of the cats seen in the photos.
